Is it the money? Dallas is under the salary cap and actually has money to spend on a big contract. Could it people that players are kinda pissed at Mark Cuban for breaking up the championship team and find that he isn't a loyal owner? Eh who knows...What I do know is that it doesn't look like anyone will be coming to the Mavericks anytime soon...but hey there's always a chance they could go fro Lebron next year right?!
I think you kinda gassed that up the only two players the Mavs were seriously after was Dwill and D12. Rondo is under contract and the only way to get him was through a trade. Marc Stein reported the mavs never made a formal offer to Bynum cuz of red flags on his knees. Jermaine Oneal what year is this again? The Mavs just won the ship 2yrs ago and has one the most popular owner in sports players would love to play here. It just didn't work out for the only two players we seriously went after.
